DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! Intense HIIT Training: The Best Workout for Entrepreneurs

I have always been a frustrated athlete feeling like I never accomplished what I wanted when I had a chance to play. I am here to constantly recreate myself, pay the price of success, and expect to win. Entrepreneurship has been my arena where I treat the business like sport. Being in business for myself gives my family and me the best chance to win our financial championships every year for the rest of our lives.

It’s important to be explosive in business. You want to give the best possible effort that you can. It’s important to not hold anything back. The other critical thing to remember is that there is not enough time even though you might feel that you do. The last six months of this coronavirus pandemic have taught us exactly this. We always tend to think that we have tomorrow. But what if that tomorrow never comes? That is why you need to do everything with a sense of urgency.

There is something else that requires your attention if you have big dreams and goals. Most of the time, people can be scared of their own dreams because they are so large and they just don’t know how they will be able to get there. But there is a strategic way this can be done. If you break your large goal into many smaller goals (or milestones), it will be much easier to take that journey. Because then, you can be focused on what’s immediately ahead of you.

This lesson can be learned from workouts at the gym. If you have to do 50 reps of a certain exercise, you might be turned off immediately. But if you get it into your mind that it’s just 10 reps done 5 times over time, it gets much easier. At the end of the day, it’s more mental than physical. You have to convince your mind that this is achievable and the best way to do that is by breaking something large into smaller pieces.

Often times, in your journey, the going might get really tough. But at the old saying goes, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” You owe it to yourself to finish what you started. You need to muster up that energy and courage from the inside to face the challenges in your journey and reach a level that most are simply scared of to even think about. This will secure your position at the top.

If you’re able to get to the top despite all the hardships, you can be assured that you will remain there for a long timer (given you do not make stupid decisions). Nine out of ten people won’t even try to get through what you went through to reach the top. And even if that rare individual comes up, they will need to go through all the pitfalls in their journey too.
