Success and Convenience a Most Interesting Relationship
Success and convenience have an interesting relationship. There’s a downside for “waiting on perfect timing” or decision making that requires an exuberant amount of deliberation. Holding on too tightly having to “wait for the stars to line up” or “lining up for an opportunity” are common excuses. When it comes to getting what you want it keeps one in a mental paralysis by analysis.
Join me as I go Facebook LIVE from my Mercedes Benz SL 550 AMG Mille Miglia Edition talking about the downside to success and convenience. I love talking your calls and messages about this subject. However when I challenge people on when they are going to start walking the walk…I find a very, very interesting response.
Success and “Waiting for the Right Time”
Success if never determined about what you’re going to do. It is determined on what you get done and the process you’re willing to commit to.
Success and convenience do NOT hang out. They have an interesting relationship but it’s not one that bears any fruit. It lands people in a state of confusion.
I can’t tell you how many people I’ve run into in my 18 years as an entrepreneur talking a good game. I have had a chance to keep in contact with them over the years, thanks to social media. Sadly, many of them never get started. Or they get started and never do much after that.
Their execution sucks. Fear of what people think, lack of family or spousal support and “trying” but never really doing are common excuses for giving up.
The graveyard is filled with so much untapped potential and souls buried with regret. I hope you choose to live a life that you can look back and be proud of.
It takes courage to do something special and significant in your life. Don’t wait for the right time to do things to make your mark.
